Description
Early versions of the E2 have been copied by the Chinese, creating a similar version for a fraction of the price.
Most obvious drawbacks are a lower range, low KERS braking resulting in a long braking distance if the rear foot isn’t used, a less rigid Battery Management System, translating into uncertain battery status, no integrated rear light in the rear fender, rattle over uneven roads, suspension to be tuned for uneven roads and tightening loose nuts & bolts.
Then again, looks are pretty much identical to the premium alternative, it’s still easy to live with and you get a stronger headlight with a bigger display. The quick button for the three speeds also allows you to quickly adjust to walking and lower biking speeds.
